I originally made this music boxes for tourists and Hungarian travelers who want to bring back gifts from Hungary.
Among the customers of the Souvenir series are local governments, especially those with twin city connections, companies, foreign partners, but also foreigners who want to give their Hungarian friends living in their countries an original Hungarian gift, or who have visited Hungary themselves and would like some kind of folk, unique, handmade gift afterwards. Among my customers have also been foreign local governments and museums.
The music box - hurdy-gurdy - is a bell playing with a metal mechanism, in which tiny metal plucked lamellas play the sounds of the melody.
The natural grain and painted color of the wood may differ slightly from what you see in the picture. Each piece is made individually, by hand, so the image may - not fundamentally - differ from reality, no two pieces are alike. Samples are sometimes placed on the roof upside down.
